The ma-la pot was real hot.. it's actually half chicken half ma-la. Not bad.. but not very worth it cos the rate is alittle on the higher side, compared to other steamboat buffets. Think it's about $40 per person. Haha.. the manager was very entertaining.. made the whole lot of us laugh out loud manz.. lolz.. "partner" with our sales uncle, Hock Beng.. and they sang cantonese songs too.. haha..
Total 20 of us.. Hmm.. okay to go for a try.. i like the pacific clams with ma-la soup taste.. Nice~ :D

Busy Saturday haha..

Working half day today.. Celebrated Boss's Bday.. haha we knew from Hock Beng that today is the actual birthday of our Boss.. so.. went opp to Baker's Inn and get him a cake. Hehe guessed he's happy that we got this little surprise for him, so sudden.. think this is the first time too. Hmm.. first time after so many years oh.. after that Boss treat us to lunch @ Waraku.. a Jap restaurant. Nice food there.. but alittle costly for their steamboat. He ordered 2 types of steamboat, one was more soupy and another dry. Soupy one is for chicken and drier one is for beef. Think the drier one uses miso soup as the base. 5 of us shared the 2 pots.. servings was huge manz.. alot of veges.. sort of alittle too much for 2 person per pot.. plus Hock Beng already had his ala carte ramen haha.. Had a busier day at work.. colleague was on MC today.. As usual shipments, containers bla bla.. everyday is routine work i would say.. but ok la.. what to expect.. it's always like that when one worked at a place for a longer time.. At first Shipping was something so new to me.. but of cos i still had lots to learn. It's almost 3 yrs (till end Dec) since i started work here.. meaning my chicken pox was 3 yrs back.. How time flies.. i like to say this.. haha..
Anyway things are still alright so far.. at times just dun really like the attitude of our haulier, Richland, hmm some of them..

Co's dinner this coming Thurs.. to celebrate our involvement in the E50 as well as to gather i think.. Company came in 23rd this year.. (:
Hehe.. going for Ma-La Steamboat! Hot... Not sure where is the place.. but heard it's near Tanglin.. try it first haa~

Next.. would like to try baking cheesecake maybe? Hehz.. shall see how.. and of cos i will always be the guinea pig. :)

Just back from 511 Market dinner with family.. sort of to celeb Bro's b'day as well.. :)

Hehe.. to my surprise, the cake taste not bad and in fact quite alright despite its "appearance" keke.. :)

Cos' initially i wanted to make a "white cake".. covered with whipped cream.. but... bought whipping cream instead, which is not right for it.. Hehz..

Pinky died last week.. while molting.. sad of cos.. It came out of its shell to molt.. but wonder why.. Heard from Uncle Lam that hermits cannot leave its shell.. not even for a day as it will dehydrate easily and die. Think this is what happened. As for Reddy, i have brought it back to Uncle Lam.. can't bear to but think this is a better choice than to leave it alone in the plastic container.. crabbies can't stand loneliness, they might die too. Yes, i can buy another crabby to accompany Reddy if i want to.. but after some thought, think it's better to be under the care of Uncle Lam. I supposed Reddy already knew that Pinky is dying.. as it slept just beside Pinky for that 2 days.. Initially i was afraid to put them together while Pinky was molting.. cos as read from the web, some crabbies will disturb the crabby which is molting, as they are weakest during this process, thus causing harm to it. So bad huh.. but luckily Reddy did not, instead it "took care" of Pinky for me. :)

Glad to have them as pets.. though not for long, but good enough.. the way they climb the tree, they eat, they move about.. haha so cute and funny. At first they did looked like spiders to me.. so many legs.. even my colleagues thought so too haha. But they are so cute and shy keke.. Alright.. R.I.P. Pinky..

Really miss them...
