Went lunch with our sales person, Uncle Hock Beng this afternoon.. total 7 of us.. Betty (Manager), Serene, Cindy, Helen, Sally (ex-admin staff) and me. It's a vegetarian restaurant @ Joo Chiat, called "The Greens" or something like that.. couldn't remember liaoz.. but the food was yummy! Vegetarian food can be real good also.. they have western cuisines as well.. can give it a try.. Oh and not to forget, the "ba bao" porridge we had today was delicious toooo!
Haha our manager and Hock Beng "fighting" to foot the bill.. Think our office's sales uncles like to gather for lunches and give treats haha! Juz like our Lao Ban.. but too bad, our 2nd lao ban went home for his lunch everyday..

Have been eating since back from HK.. and think my appetite is getting bigger too.. Haha think ate too much while we are there.. keke.. those huge servings of breakfasts and dinners! HK pple can really eat manz.. For Helen and me.. it's like after lunch we are full for a short period of time, then there's room again.. Think among the females both of us can eat the most.. Hoho.. ^^

Holiday mood again.. holiday~~ Haha.. slacker me..

Anyway think Pok and her budds are planning another trip.. maybe next year.. haha Genting, Taiwan or.....?

Shamim is back from Bangkok and with her 2nd baby! She's our poly friend. Hmm.. how time flies.. When we saw her last year, she had her 1st child.. and now her 2nd.. six months' old now.. Might be meeting over the wkend to catch up cos' she will be going back 2 wks later. So fast and rush.. just got her call today while im @ work.. was sort of surprised.. cos it's been long since we last met up. Time really fliesss...... yeah? ^o^

Oh manz.. my comp is giving symptoms!! That it's going haywire soon~~ Sianzz...

Anyway Campus Superstar 07 was finally out! Zhuo Xuan Zheng, the little boy.. Hmm on the whole i like his powerful vocal.. but not Sat night's performance.. think he was abit nervous abt the results throughout the show.. thus affected his usual performance.. He did managed to let go alittle during the 2nd half of the show.. after he was chosen as the male champion. As for the female champion, Keely was not bad too.. but i still prefer Zhengning for her stage performance.. the judges praised her dance moves too.. And Benjamin, he's got a very soothing and gentle type of vocal.. haha my colleague, Helen likes his singing alot.. Then there's also singing & dancing by the rest of the ex-superstar contestants. Ok, that's so much abt this superstar thingy..

Finally done with the split B/L stuff.. just have to mail out the docs tmr! Submitted the original docs to UOB this afternoon, hope there won't be much delay for their processing.. cos vessel will be arriving destination on 29/8/07.. hope everything goes well~!

Been busy since the week i came back from HK.. what to do.. work work and work.. piling up when im dealing with other stuff.. My colleague was on 3 days MC, her eye swollen due to some dust infection.. hence gotta do more trucking & arranging of containers.. new shipments coming in and out.. on hand and on hold.. couldn't do much even vessel already sailed.. Trying my best to clear them and Manager called "Huiping" againz.... and my Bosses downstairs too haha.. and funny thing is when you are busy, you'll get busier.. When you are free, you are super free.. Helen said it's very obvious when im busy, cos i dun talk unless necessary and when im free, i talk more of cos haha.. But at times when you are too free, you will start to feel bored too.. Thus, i actually prefer to be a busy-body! Haha!

Ok! Can declare my export permits tmr.. finally after 2 days' delay.. Boss will be chasing after me if permits still not out soon haha.. Busy but challenging.. racing against time! Hoho..

Recently made some mistakes @ work.. gotta split a single shipment into 2 separate B/Ls (Bill of Lading) but i din noticed at first, thus have to re-do.. cos the terms of payment on the invoices are different. Luckily after asking the particular shipping company, we just have to pay for the amendment fees, $60 and not with those Custom's incurred fees or what else. If not sure get scolding and not just only being asked about it. Am more worried about whether will the buyer be in time to receive the original B/Ls before the vessel arrive their destination. If not, their cargoes cannot be released, meaning cannot get their tyres yet. Hmm have to be more careful not to make the same mistake again! Was sort of guilty manz.. Have to settle this split B/Ls stuff asap. Think im getting more forgetful also! Aiyo.. old liao la.. haha.. Have to be extra careful careful~~~

Ok have a good Sat nite.. watching Guess X 3 now.. Jacky Wu with 2 different hosts today, no more Selina and Hebe.. but think best partners would be with Ah-Ya and Rainie Yang ba, they always make fun of Jacky Wu together.. :)

Co's HK Trip 07' ~ 9-12 August

Yeah im back! Haha.. had a happy and memorable trip! Sum up below!


1st day AM:
We had to arrive Changi Airport 6.20am latest.
Haha and surprisingly, im the 3rd to reach there. Considered very early. First was Helen, followed by Ah Hai.
Was afraid that i'll be late like last year's trip, i left the house abt 5.50am to fetch for cab. Haha it took me less than 5 mins and im already in the cab. Heading to CA, journey abt 15 mins. By the time i got there, it was only 6.10am.
Next we spotted Cindy haa.
Then waited for the rest..
Our flight was 8.05am.
Ok.. off we flew to HK!


1st day PM:
We arrived HK Airport @ abt 12.10pm.
Collect our luggages.. di-li-de-li awhile.. at the same time waiting for my Manager, Betty's daughter to join us.
All happy faces hehe. Yeah esp me!
Tour guide (Monica) came, took a coach to our hotel, Langham Place Hotel (Mongkok). Journey was abt 45 mins.
The first impression of our hotel.. Wow~ comfy and like the ambience very much, esp evening time. And it's directly linked to the shopping areas!
Not all of us can check in to our rooms, some rooms are not available yet. Had to wait until abt 4pm for most of the rooms. Lumped all the luggages in those few rooms and off to shop! Hehe..
Meeting 7.30pm @ the Lobby to go for dinner together!
Took the MTR to Jordon station for dinner. Forgot the name of that restaurant, but the food was not bad at all.
After dinner, some wanted to shop arnd there, while some of us went back. It was a tiring day haha..
Went back to our hotel and went G2000, colleagues wanted to have a look, big discounts! Cindy bought 2 tops i think.
Back to our rooms, bathe, blow dry hair and get ready for bed! Tired and eyes already wanna close during dinner. Haa. Plus abit not feeling well.
Our room 1521, king-sized bed shared with Lydia. Think those on lvl 11 got 2 single beds instead. Love our room, though it's not as spacious as our room in Bangkok. And the bathroom deco haa..


2nd day:
Breakfast meet up @ Lobby 7.15am.
Went to "Fu Yuan" nearby our hotel for dim-sum! Yummy manz! In fact we went 3 times haha.. twice for breakfast and once for dinner.
Macau.. took a ferry there. Nearly vomitted sia.. journey 1 hr. Felt giddy and nausea. Luckily Lydia bought "Wu Hua Guo". I took almost half bottle of it..
Took quite a lot of pictures during this Macau trip.
Stopped over to get some local snacks. Like "Lou Po Bang" (Lau Po Bing), "Gai Zai Bang" (Ji Zai Bing), almond cookies and so on..
But, Typhoon.. we had to take a very long route back. Haha.. this is most memorable manz..
Typhoon was @ 3rd stage when we wanted to head back. Hence, took bus to Zhu Hai and then another 3 hrs plus to Shen Zhen.. and changed MTR twice before we were back @ Mongkok station. Long way back haha. But real memorable, imagine all of us carry our barang barang and running here and there lolz!
Ok and finally back to Mongkok, time was already 10+pm.. but we were hungry and went for supper. Most of us had Wanton Mee.. super salty but nice! And the fried noodles not bad too.
Ok, supper done, back to our cosy rooms finally!
Oh ya, and Mr Lim arrived @ abt 8+pm today.


3rd day:
Went for breakfast @ "Fu Yuan" again! This time round we gathered @ the Lobby abt 9am. Sumptous Dim-Sum..
Yeah went to the Wax Museum and the Peak!! Wanted very much to go manz.. The peak was just a few lvls up the museum.
Took pictures with Jay Chou, Andy Lau, Lee Kuan Yew, Gandhi and so on.. Pix up later!

Hungry again and had some bites @ BK.. ordered nuggets but it was kid's meal haa.. free that Simpsons's baby girl. Got sound somemore.
Oh ya and mentioned of Simpsons, taken a pix with "live" Simpsons's son! Haha pix in Serene's cam. My cam totally no batt after the 2nd night! Remembered to bring everything but my cam charger ):
Gathered @ Lobby again at 7.30 for dinner @ "Fu Yuan". It's dinner now! Very very sumptous and huge servings they've got! We were super full! And think Ah Hai ate the most, not that he wanted, but all keep asking him to eat. Aiyo... but he sure can eat manz (:
Already struggling hard to finish the dishes on our table, Marcus, our young boss still passed over their "left-overs"~ Haa.. Cindy said ma jiam we are garbage..
Total 20 of us! 2 tables..
Supposed to go for dan-dan, it's a famous not-to-be-missed dessert in HK. Sort of steamed egg type but it's steamed milk this time. But too full.. all surrendered. Haa.
Had a very full and full of laughter dinner too!
In fact, almost during every meals there were laughter. Haha cos' there's Hock Beng (sales uncle).
After that, own free time again. Those who wanna shop go ahead. Went "Loi Yan Gai" (Nu Ren Jie).. sort of like Pasar Malam. shopped till abt 11.30pm then back hotel to rest.. Bought my Seven drawfs there! Hmm.. think there's also Nan Ren Jie there. But din get to go anyway. Not enuf time ): Haa.
Din get to eat dan-dan still. But had "Xu Liu Shan" mango dessert on the last day before we went back! There are two Xu Liu Shan branches near our hotel. Went with Cindy, Helen and Lydia. Hoho my treat!
Packed our luggages before going to bed.


Last day:
Lydia and me both wakey late today. 8.45am! Jumped out of bed haha.. While she's applying make-up, i go wash up bla bla.
Had to gather @ Lobby 9am. Full 20 of us again. Hee..
Had to walk further this time round. Maybe a few streets away ba..
At first going for dan-dan but it's not yet open for business. Missed it again. Settled down nearby for our breakfast.
Had "Fishball hor fun".. the soup base was real good. Huge serving. Mrs Lim rec this. Mei Choo ordered this too. We din finish it.
Back to hotel and gathered all our lugagges in Kok Peng's room before we went out again to shop.
Went to "Tsim Sha Tsui" (Jian Sha Zhui) after this with Helen, Cindy, Lydia, Serene & Mei Choo.. the Sogo there to look for the famous "Lou Po Bang". But in the end din get to buy it. Walked the whole stretch of "Xing Guang Da Dao" instead. It was drizzling manz.. haha we even bought a cap. Bad weather in HK slightly spoilt the shopping mood.
Ok almost time to head back to our hotel.
Thought i could finally rest my legs haha but Hock Beng wanted to get the drawfs for his daughter too.. Serene accompanied me to "Loi Yan Gai" to get it. And! we bought stuffs again! Haa.. Serene bought a pair of shoes and me soft toy again, the 10 chinese zodiac piggies!
Back to hotel and tried to stuff more things into my luggage. i've got 2 hand carry bags haha. Luckily Kok Peng helped me carry one.
Coach will be here abt 5pm to fetch us to the airport.
Haha running from Lobby to B2 and to Ground lvl.. and back to B2. Took pix @ the ground lvl with the two big round figures @ the entrance.
Off to airport and back to home sweet home!

Haha went to queue for Donut Factory today! Hehe Pok and me only queued for 1 and 1/2 hr for twice aha.. Hmm.. maybe it's only @ Suntec branch? Cos heard from friends tat queuing @ Raffles City took them nearly 3 hrs wor.. Woo.. by the time we got there, the queue line was still considered short.. but after we started to queue for a while it got longer and longer...... haha.. queued the 2nd time to get some for Ame (B'day ger), Ting & Lai (:

Hmm it's an experience too.. to queue for the famous Donut Factory Doughnuts! Not bad, worth the queue.. no wonder so many pple.. Keke.. finally we say and really went and not say only.. Think Donut Factory has got more flavours and slightly tastier compared to the ones @ Meridian's e-donuts (Before crossing the road to PS).

We went for drinks @ Starbucks, had our dinner @ Soup Restaurant and finally dessert @ Haagen daaz! Haa even played "O-Ah-Bei-Ah-Som" to decide where to eat cos too many choices @ Tampines.. Ting won ALL hence Soup Restaurant keke.. And.. the yummy fondue i've been craving for! Hehe.. sinful sinful..
Though it's a simple gathering but guessed all of us enjoyed ourselves today rite?! ^^

Ame and Quan happy with the presents they've got haha.. Quan the expension set of "Descents" (boardgame his fav) and Ame, Roses.. the Swatch blue-coloured necklace and 2 dozens of donuts! Haha glad tat U guys like the presents (:

"Ginger chicken".. meant to be wrapped in lettuce plus cucumber. it can go with or without the ginger, but it tastes super good with! ^^


Had tat plus a few more other dishes for our dinner.. like black bean pork rib, lao huang gua soup, stir fry tapioca leaves, beggar bowl tofu, steamed fish slices, broccoli. Haha.. had a full dinner followed by taking some photos and then then........
