Finally been to the VIVO City!

Hee finally went to the newly-opened VIVO City! ^^ Met up w Agnes n YY @ Harbourfront MRT Ctrl yester bout 1pm.. wow alot of pple sia.. tink partly cos it's a new place to explore ba.. wonder will it still be as crowded as the time goes by.. Hmm.. anyway the place was really spacious and many shops for shopaholics hahaha... but too bad no $$ so din shop much actually.. we juz went for "Sinking of Japan" movie and later slack for some kopi @ Starbucks.. haha supposed wanna have some hot drinks cos we were super freezed after cinema but ended im the one who drank iced caramel mocchiato.. sumthing like tat la.. But hor.. the VIVO City dun have any entertainment at the moment.. majority of the shops still nt yet open..

Haha after tat went to lvl 3.. beautiful scenery manz.. woo... can see the PSA port and those containers fr there.. and my craved place Sentosa! Haa.. since tat time say until nw liao.. dunno when going oso.. wanna go for the activities there mayb.. but heard tat it's quite exp.. juz love beautiful scenery lo.. :_)

Haha and it's quite a headache tinking where to have our dinner.. lolz.. finally settled at Shaw Tower tat foodcourt.. hee.. YY n Agnes had vegetarian Chicken n beef spaggetti respectively.. and me Bar chor noodle soup.. nt bad la.. haha but of cos i prefer the one @ Market 85 lo..

Went to shop @ Carrefour b4 heading home.. haha oh ya n YY blanjah us to some drinks n chit chatted awhile @ Kopitiam tare.. we were saying bout office politics all tat.. tink when there are pple there are politics ba.. anyway am having my 2 days MC today n tmr.. wonder shld i go back wrk tmr instead to avoid tongues wragging..

Haah went to the Halloween event held at Escape Themepark last nite.. The "Haunted" House!! Scary in the beginning doh.. tink im super useless yester when im in tat hse manz.. did scream abit.. haha somehw reminds me of tat time when im in tat Genting Pontianak House w Bibi n Lan Ying.. haha i clinged so close to Bibi sia!

The event was from 7-11pm.. haha actually there is yester, today n tmr (3 days).. Hmm... ok la.. after we came out fr tat scary hse, cool down a while.. i tink it's nt as scary n exciting as the one in Genting.. haha.. but im still scared by it manz! Eh.. tot after one time trial tat time, i'll be more daring n "brave" liao.. but nah~ haha n there was this "ghost" tats so funnie.. go rnd scaring pple w his poking "fork" aha.. and we saw a ger kana scare by him sia.. so bad leh.. suddenly appear behind pple of cos scared la.. haa if me tink i'll scream liao..

The haunted hse was our 1st station.. then we went for other available rides.. Pirates, the flying superman, the mini roller-coaster, something like flying UFOs.. actually there are other rides like the Go Kart n Wet n Wild.. admission only $10 for adults and $6 for children.. haha for those who wanna be scare..

Hee Hee... I'm back fr Bangkok!!!

Hope tat there will be more of such gatherings again haha.. I'll sure read back the nxt time.. and some more it's OUR 1st trip w Company and flying experience for me.. Overall a nice one.."

Hey! Im back from my Bangkok trip! It's company trip.. together with my colleagues and bosses.. hehe.. Hmm.. our MD (Mr Lim), Mrs Lim, their daughter-in-law (Amy) and their 3rd son, Kwang Wei, our Director (Mr Teo), his son, Ming Yong, our store pple (Ah Hai, Kok Peng n his wife, Chin Hock, Mei Choo n Lydia).. our office, Hock Beng aka our "Dao You" (dark soy sauce) hehe... they called him "Jiu Cheng" (light soy sauce) keke.. Serene, Helen and me! Wooo... many wor.. altogether 16 of us! But too bad Cindy n Adrian cant join us.. our manager Betty also.. Hee... such a wonderful experience for me! My 1st time on plane and the 1st experience was good! Njoyed myself alot during the 4 days 3 nights trip! Yeah~ like it! Hope tat we can go n holiday again TOGETHER! Yesh..

Ok.. im surprised tat our Director joined us for this trip.. cos usually he din even join us for lunch lo.. haha so it was nice.. and my colleagues keep asking me to "consider" his son haha.. so funnie.. saying he's so gentleman, nt bad.. can consider.. yap indeed! nt bad lo.. 1st impression was good.. but Mr Teo din join us for majority of the shopping haha.. it's a ladies thing ba! hoho.. both Mr Lim n Teo din shop much lo.. but im quite surprised too tat Mr Teo n his son converse in mandarin leh.. haa.. cos usually in the office, Mr Teo speak English wor.. seldom heard him speak mandarin.. sounds abit nt used to it doh.. haha.. but it's like more friendly lo..

1st day~
Hmm.. we meet 10am @ T1 counter 3.. haha as usual im late.. bout 15 mins.. when im in the sky train liao Lydia called saying Mr Lim said whoever late gotta treat haha.. joking of cos but she saying i sound so kan jiong when i said okok coming aha.. Eh.. but im nt the latest hehe.. tink Helen was cropped up somewhere.. she's late bout 40 mins wor.. while waiting, all of us chit chat and can see all happy faces haha.. im one of them of cos! Heez.. so excited by then when im at the airport.. 1st time flying + going to shopping paradise! Haha.. Bangkok!! Woo.. nice.. quite a nice place to shop.. things are nt tat exp lo.. more affordable and great variety.. it's like you see an item in this shop, you won't see it in another lo.. Hmm.. dunno izit those store vendors pakak saying nt to sell same things.. haha.. we were thinking la.. this time rnd in Bangkok no more super bargaining le.. cant bargain much liao... all saying fixed price, but ok la.. the price were really quite low to "loop" (dunno hw to spell, but it's a Thai word to ask if they can lower the price) liao.. we learnt quite a few Thai words, like... "tao lai" (how much), "cup koon" (thank you), and the common greeting msg (Sawadeeka & Sawadeekab).. Ps all dunno hw to spell.. and our guide on board the bus to our Hotel was Wang Li Cong hahaha.. he said he was Wang Li Hong's bro, jokingly la.. haha.. funnie guy but think he will feel abit sian toking to all 16 of us cos no much response haha.. all juz listen n din respond to his questions lo.. mayb tired ba.. me too.. but Lydia n me did at least seems more interested in the languages.. she's my room mate too! A 28 yr old n 23 yr old, we hit it off well! ^^

The plane took off bout 12:51 pm... haha exact time actually.. im super excited again! haha.. i get the window seat twice! Hehe.. 1st time Lydia let me sit, when coming back my Lady Boss Mrs Lim let me.. hoho the clouds soo nice! it's like a picture! Haha it's hard to describe using words.. but it's juz so nice! Haha.. oh but Helen din get to sit nxt to the window.. this is her 1st time on plane too.. we din noe bout it.. until she said juz nw.. Hmm.. if i knew it earlier, tink i will let her have once.. tink she din njoy herself... she keep saying sian and so during our shopping and saying she wont wanna go Bangkok again.. Hmm... can see tat she's feeling leftout.. and somemore she's sharing room with Amy.. we sure noe the sian feeling lo.. it's like 2 pple of different world staying together.. for me, i'll sure be quite sian oso.. cos din had much topics to chat bout lo.. and heard Amy is nt tat easy to get along too.. at 1st ok, but later she like want things to go her way more.. sian lo..

After we arrived at our Hotel, Intercontinental.. waited to check-in.. divided ourselves into 2 per rm.. reached our rm.. oh ya there's a saying, to knock 3 times on the door 1st before you enter.. for those hotel n chalets.. it's like to let those spirits noe tat you are coming over to stay.. instead of juz rushing in straightaway.. better to believe than nt la.. yap and after knocking, we went in.. unpack our stuff and rest before we started our crazy shopping! Haha.. really crazy manz.. we've been shopping non stop almost! haha.. except for breakfast n dinner time manz! Lolz... our bosses were like AGAIN?! Haha.. tink they gonna faint sn haha.. and the rest of the uncles oso.. haha so funnie they all.. especially Hock Beng manz.. super comical.. he's soo humorous lo.. aha.. keep making us laugh w his jokes and the way he talks.. lolz..

We all meet for dinner @ 7pm (time at Thailand, Sing is 8pm) everyday.. dinner is on our Boss's acct hehe.. so actually all our $$ are spent on our own stuff lo.. haha din had to pay for our meals actually.. cos every dinner was taken together! Hee... soo nice.. like the part when all gather and waited at the Lobby to go for dinner.. the more the merrier lo.. 1st day all of us went dinner together in one of the Thai restaurant in our hotel.. the thai food was good! and during dinner, Mr Lim asked me to help myself to the food.. saying xiao mei mei eat haha then later his son oso follow.. calling me mei mei lo.. haha his facial expression was funnie.. and later after knowing tat im actually older than him, he's abit pai seh ba i guess haa.. he's 22, younger than me by a yr.. Oh but too bad the Tom Yam was nt tat fantastic lo.. unlike the nxt day's Tom Yam hehe super nice! Hoo... we save alot on meals manz.. breakfast is under hotel.. but of cos Boss paid for us lo.. tink it was bout $160 sing dollars for the 4 days breakfast ah.. for me it was nt cheap lo.. haha he even settle the airport tax (500 baht) for us! Woo... haha we the ladies.. were still thinking if he will pay for us.. so tat we got more money to spend hehe.. so greedy huh? hehe.. i really njoyed myself manz! Missed the trip and the times we all spent there liao.. and the room sharing w my room mate Lydia haha.. she's our new staff in the store.. they were saying we were so lucky, juz joined the company nt long and we get to travel liao.. haha yeah i agreed! Hope there's more of such chances! :_)

Tink the 2nd day there's soccer match ah.. Liverpool Vs Man U ba.. haha so our Boss's 3rd son, Kwang Wei din joined us for dinner... stayed in his rm to watch soccer ah.. lolz.. and we again went to a thai restaurant but this time rnd, buffet style.. hehe.. eat all you can! But too bad we were all nt big eaters lo.. but i did had my fill haha.. w all the desserts, Tom Yam, rice and other dishes haha.. yum yum~ and again after dinner, shopping time! AHa... Boss fainting again.. hoho... oh ya and our 2nd Boss n his son forgt tat we are gonna have dinner together tat nite and went for theirs oreadi.. so din join us too... cos usually we did went out together for shopping as a grp but later we all tend to split up into different grps le.. cos all looking at different things lo.. too bad... haha i did told my colleagues tat actually i like to shop and walk together lo.. like all of us shopping together! But it's hard la cos all wanna look at different things ma..

After our dinner went out shopping nearby.. nt sure wats the name of tat place.. but near to our hotel.. oh ya and nxt to our hotel is Holiday Inn hotel.. and there's a Mac juz opp.. Hmm.. the nuggets there taste better than Sing's haha.. but the fries nt really good.. haha and Serene keep wanting to go for the Mac manz.. haha for the nuggets tats known to be good.. lolz.. so before our 2nd nite's dinner, we ate Mac again.. though Lydia n me had oreadi tasted the Mac in the aftern! HAha.. twice sia.. wonder hw to KFC taste there.. hehe... din get to eat tat.. but Ah Hai, Serene, Mei Choo, Kok Peng n his wife shared the BK meals at the Bangkok airport before we went up the plane.. oh haha talking bout Mac.. a very funnie incident on Hock Beng and Ah Hai they all.. they bought the Mac meals back to eat at the hotel lobby.. and while eating, a lady receptionist told them in a very polite tone tat they cant eat there but was in thai lang so.. haha our uncle Hock Beng thought she was telling them to njoy their meal slowly hahaha.. but few minutes later, the same recept saw them still sitting there eating and said hw come i ask you guys nt to eat here and you all still here! this time in a more unfriendly tone liao haha.. nt sure in Eng or thai.. but guess can see fr her facial expression ba.. haha.. when they told us, we were all laughing like mad manz..

Haha Serene and Mei Choo are really shopping queenies manz! they can shop non-stop sia.. Lydia and me cant haha.. merely shopping for bout 2 hrs we stopped le.. haha and Serene, Mei Choo and Helen went for their foot massage while we both went back on our own.. haha we lazy to wait for them hoho.. on the way back we shopped again whenever we spot something we like.. haha.. spend $$ again.. lolz.. wanted to go Isetan to get some stuff but we were too tired and lazy after the shopping n hot weather so went back hotel 1st.. haha after soaking ourselves in the bath tub.. shiok! Super shiok manz.. after a good bath, so refreshing.. we had a nap hehe.. so tired manz.. napped for bout 3 hrs wor... and guess wat.. the 3 ladies nt back in their rms yet! haha super shopping queens sia.. till bout 7 we gathered at the Lobby again.. dinner! Then they are back arnd 6:45 haha... we oreadi woke up fr our slp by then hehe..

The 3rd day's dinner was at a restaurant named Hua Seng Hong.. somewhere at the Chinatown over there.. this restaurant served Thai eastern food.. like those we had in Sing.. shark fin, tofu dishes, vege, fish, steam glass noodles bla bla.. but tink Helen was nt feeling well during the 4 days.. coughing quite badly.. she even bought a cough syrup at the pharmacy over near the restaurant.. she's a vegetarian so had her own separate dishes lo.. but Helen's nt a strict vegetarian.. can still take garlic and onions lo..

She's neglected.. cos of her mouth.. she juz had the bad habit of nagging.. which all din like.. she will shop along w us but after tat keep saying she dun like Bangkok, will nt wanna go again.. dun like to shop at those stores like pasar malam type.. but she will still come along.. for me im ok i juz simply bo chap all tat so long she dun nag me.. but we sort of felt irritated by Helen's actions.. like say one thing and do another.. and keep saying hw come dun go Australia all tat... y come here bla bla.. i mean it's oreadi so nice tat our Boss bring all of us to holiday liao.. and it's FOC somemore.. shouldn't we be glad and happy and njoy it instead of juz sighing.. but we understand hw Helen's feeling lo.. having to share a rm w Amy was nt tat easy ba.. from wat we heard fr her.. and noe wat.. today Helen juz told us if nt we din noe tat Amy actually asked her did she took her sweater.. the way she asked was nt nice ba.. took leh.. ma jiam like assume she stole it.. mayb she dun meant tat... but juz the way she asked lo.. even my colleagues whom after hearing find it quite hurting.. and tink there's another incident, Amy asked Helen does she usually sleep with lights off, and she said yes.. and later Amy switched off all the lights in the rm wor.. oh.. abit funnie leh.. thot usually pple will still leave some lights on.. haha.. nt sure la but Lydia n me on all the lights in our rm haha.. tink we both scared darkness.. hehe..

Din really slept well these few nites.. especially the 1st 2 nites.. been slping at bout 1+am.. haha.. but once i fell aslp it's till morning straight.. bout 6+ or 7... ready for breakfast @ 8am! hoho.. we will intercom one another when we woke up.. and saying wat time to meet at the lift to go down for breakfast.. usually we had ours at 8.. oh ya haha Hock Beng, Chin Hock and Ah Hai woke up so early sia.. they went down for breakfast at bout 6:30am! Wow.. we juz woke up manz.. haha.. and they were seated at the same usual seats everyday! Lolz... funnie.. and Hock Beng's oways our entertainer sia.. with his singing and jokes.. and he sang Xiao Wei (Hokkien version) during our 3rd day dinner.. haha.. we all laugh lo! haha and so pai seh sia.. when Mr Lim told Hock Beng nxt time can go singing w us ladies and Serene pointed out tats me haa.. and they asked me to sing sia... lolz.. of cos i shy ma.. so many faces looking at me... tats y i say i cant take part in Superstar keke.. super shy tat moment lo.. and nervous haha..

Time flies... super fast the 4 days! Woo.. we had to pack our stuff and back to Sing liao.. reached Changi Airport bout 7:30pm last nite.. 2 hrs flight lo.. had our dinner on the plane.. sit beside Mrs Lim.. Hmm.. felt quite uneasy to sit beside her at first.. cos dunno wats there to chat bout.. but later haha thing goes on fine! Haha... we chatted quite some things.. nt tat bad.. hee.. 2 hrs was fast lo.. for the flight back, we din managed to get all of us sitting together unlike when departing.. and this time rnd, Lydia n Serene sat behind us.. actually my seat no. was 66K.. but exchange w Kok Peng's wife.. dun wanna b bad ger leh.. separate loving couple haha.. but really leh, they are so loving like model couple lo.. Kok Peng called his wife auntie and she called him old man (lao eh).. haha made all of us wanna laugh lo.. they keep saying Kok Peng was such a good husband.. even today in the office we are still talking bout our Bangkok trip! Keke.. i really missed it manz.. haha... more of like the times we all spent together la.. and shopping like crazy~

Chin Hock was also a vegetarian.. but he's a strict one.. no garlic or onion stuff.. heard Mei Choo said Chin Hock had bread almost everyday for his meals.. wow.. really difficult for him lo.. cos he's nt an office boy leh.. he gotta carry those heavy tyres, load n unload juz like our other storemen.. Kok Peng, Ah Hai they all.. and they saying actually his wife was the one who wanted him to be a vegetarian ah.. so noble of him.. oh ya and before we left for Sing, Chin Hock had some dry maggie mee for his lunch.. it's those real maggie mee packs tat you can eat like mamee.. i tried alittle too hehe.. he said it's ok cos he gt few more packs.. and asked if we all wanna try too.. although we are all nt tat close and for some this is the 1st time we saw one another.. but they are all nice pple lo.. friendly.. chatty n humorous sia.. haha.. hence made this trip such a fun n memorable one! Hee... tink they noe tat im super excited and happy.. and they noe tat it's my 1st time! OO.... haha and im oways kana arrow~ by tat Hock Beng uncle.. haha i have the tendency to wear and use watever i bought over there.. so it's like i din have much new items lo.. keke.. and every morning this uncle will surely ask me whether my clothes are new.. and my sandals haha like it very much! the silver stars~ been searching for this type since i saw one pair while shopping there but din buy.. hoho..

Haha and this uncle keep saying im short! Lolz.. haha he said he is short but im shorter.. and saying will find me a guy who is like him.. so good ahaha... saying dun find too tall guys.. oso nt good.. bla bla bla.. haha promoting his own character.. and the 3rd nite after dinner, we all sat at the Lobby to keng gai awhile before turning in.. like it's the final nite there so chit chat awhile before sleeping lo.. haha cos we rarely had such opportunity whereby all sit together to chat.. and this time rnd is with our 2nd boss Mr Teo arnd! Of cos his son was with him too.. they are really close manz.. father n son.. mayb the way he take care of his dad and his actions added him some pts ba... haha Helen n Serene keep praising him.. today in the office oso.. lolz..

Oh ya and tink 23rd Oct was Boss's 3rd son's bday.. haha no wonder gt cake fr the hotel.. but! the cake was sent to the wrong rm.. to Kok Peng's rm instead! haha.. and he ate it and still said the cake was delicious.. without knowing tat cake was actually from Marcus, Boss's eldest son to his bro.. tink he specially arranged to surprise his bro Kwang Wei.. cake was the hotel's.. haha and Kok Peng even lighted the candle and blew it manz! saying it's nt nice if the hotel pple saw the unused candle.. alot of funnie moments and incidents lo.. din managed to recall all nw.. but these are the main ones ba.. haha..

Serene's husband came to the airport to fetch her and i've gt a free ride home! Hee.. left Sing with only a Mickey Mouse handbag and came back with a luggage i bought over there + a bag of some popular thai snacks.. hoho.. ps manz couldn't get much snacks cos abit overspent.. my $200 = 4700 baht + 1000 baht (borrowed fr Ah Hai) haha.. he lend it to us willingly wor.. afraid we might nt have enuf to buy luggage and other stuff.. all knew we are shopping siao liao ^^ Tink Helen waited bout 15 mins for her luggage to be out.. but when we came out fr the custom, only saw Mei Choo, Ah Hai n Chin Hock waiting for their luggages.. the rest gone off.. heard Lydia saying tat she went to buy some wine..so we din managed to see her too.. haha and she's another one.. and also asking me if there's anyone to intro to her goodfriend.. it's nice sharing rm w her la.. at least we can still keng gai to sleep though at first we are nt close at all.. but Helen is really a strong girl.. with all those incidents happening..

Hee.. yeah leaving for Bangkok tmr!! ^^ Meeting my colleagues they all 10am @ T1.. Hmm... nt yet tat excited nw but guess will be different when i get to the airport tmr ba.. hoho.. my 1st time on plane! haha.. Hmm... wanna sit next to the window.. see the clouds~ the big sky~

My Co's comp gt prob... the IT tech who came told us might be due to software failure.. totally can't boot up into windows sia.. Hmm.. at first my manager suspect tat the comp might be hacked.. but anyway the whole system unit was taken to repair nw.. gotta re-format sia.. wonder can they salvage my data.. if nt, siao liao.. gotta re-do my invoices all tat.. today 2nd day liao.. haha and my Boss asking when tat comp back.. it's like without it, im quite handicapped lo..

Wah today's PSI oso quite high.. 104... and TV saying due to the haze, the herbal tea business became better.. oh izit??

Bro still napping nw.. due to irregular slp hrs, tired~ ^^!

Oh... Mr Ng Tian Cai is leaving CCSS sn..

Hmm... will sure miss him.. he's our Sec 3 & 4 E-Maths teacher.. we all liked this teacher alot.. haha though he's really easy to bully la.. but of cos nt cos of this.. he's a very good-natured person.. friendly w students and approachable.. U can always see a smile on his face.. practically every morning! hehe.. he always put on tat sunshine smile~ mayb even when he was nt really happy tat day.. unlike some of the teachers who might be quite yaya..

He taught Lai n my class maths.. he was also Lai's form teacher.. but Mr Ng Kar Kit was my class's.. haha they both seemed to get along well too.. both Ngs hehe.. ya and nt forgetting after school hrs i'll still be seeing him! PA club Lai, Bibi and me... haha but tink we din managed to pick up any PA skills while in tat club for bout 2 yrs.. we were juz hanging arnd lo.. juz wanna have a ECA to gain some points tat time.. and by joining actively for a full yr.. u'll get 1 pt rite? Noe wat... this teacher was so kind tat he gave us tat 1 pt even when we only came twice for tat yr! He's juz so good-tempered lo.. always kana bully by our class (4/3) pple... haha of cos n Lai's (4/2) also~ both our classes were known to be the naughtiest n most playful among the Sec 4s haha.. and tat kind Mr Ng kana.. tink shld say both Ngs kana.. U seldom see him getting angry.. tink as far i remember.. once! He was very angry then.. my classmate, Aisha.. sort of provoked him by talking back at him.. tat was the first time i saw him so worked up.. he banged Aisha's table so hard tat her pager (tat time pager was considered very cool liao) dropped on the floor.. we were so shocked tat time.. cos all thought he will nt get very angry one.. and sort of mayb took him for granted.. and Mr Ng went out of the class instantly.. followed by our principal who came sn after.. all act innocent aha.. and of cos our then Principal, Mr Jafar lectured the whole class.. we stayed quiet.. tink all felt alittle guilty for making Mr Ng angry.. cos saw his tears while he walked out of our class... tink angry + heart pain ba.. it was like he was trying his best to teach us and we were nt paying attention at all.. all teachers want their students to do well... hahaha and his fav sentence, "No future la"... ahaha... this sentence always kana both our classes..

Tink there's a topic called "Loci and Construction" ah.. using the set square to draw circles.. we juz can't seemed to catch tat topic.. so after sch, we went to look for Mr Ng.. he was already bout to leave the sch.. almost getting into his car liao.. but he still answered our queries.. we were so happy and glad tat we met this two teachers lo.. but a pity.. Mr Ng Kar Kit left the sch b4 we promoted to Sec 4.. ermm or izit during our Prelims.. memory loss sia.. but heard cos another sch proached him over.. and tink was a so-called better reputated sch... he taught us Physics.. in a very clear cut manner.. short n easy to understand.. like his lesson too! interesting haha mayb cos i like Physics ^^

Actually, tink we have closer bonds w our Upper Sec teachers..

Lai, Yati n me plan to go back this Friday to see Mr Ng.. it's his final yr in CCSS liao.. after so many yrs of teaching Maths haha.. "Squae" his way of saying square.. we very bad i noe.. haha.. in the past we keep imitating his way of pronouncing tat.. keke.. and saying my form teacher looks like a pervert haha.. but later then we realised tat we were so fortunate to have met them! Due to their encouragement.. we managed to do quite well for our later tests n exams lo.. n 'O' Levels.. though my Maths results still bad.. but i did passed finally! hee... fr initially F9 to A1 for one of my Maths tests! Was super happy then..

Oh.. but Bibi & Alex can't make it.. Bibi wrking.. so tink they will arrange another day to go down.. haha saying so much bout the two Mr Ngs.. of cos there are a few more good teachers.. like Ding lao shi, Mdm See, Mrs Elsie Tan, Miss Chiong (now Mrs Ng).. Mrs Chew, Miss Lim and sooooooooo onnn..... haha n Mr Tan Bock Cheng, my Sec 1 Art teacher.. such a coincidence, he's Jeremy's dad! Aha.. Ame's Poly Yr 1 classmate ^o^

Okok.. so much bout our CCSS teachers... getting alittle too engrossed in talking bout my Sec Sch life.. hehe.. for those who are studying, njoy the process.. and for us "workers".. at least we all had our memorable student-hood~ rite?! :_)

Half day wrk on Sat.. after tat met up w Agnes & YY @ Cityhall mrt.. the 3 of us had our lunch at the foodcourt in Shaw Tower while waiting for Pok & Jx to join us.. Dazhou couldn't join us cos timing was abit rush for him.. tink he was his uncle's bestman ah.. nt too sure haha.. after all gathered, we were quite full by then.. so walked arnd Raffles City and nxt to our Ben & Jerry's ice-cream! Hoho... we ordered the "Merlionster" to share.. 6 scoops of different flavours.. cos it's cheaper tat way and tink it tastes better when sharing.. haa~

We left Cityhall bout 6+.. YY going hm for dinner, Agnes going Bugis to get some stuff while the 3 of us headed to Quan's hse for steamboat! Haha... tink he craved for tat long ago and since gotten the steamboat set so.... Hmm.. thanks Ting & Quan for all the preparation.. and the soup was yummy~ hehe heard tat it's Ting's gong lao.. keke.. Ting can be a good "housewife" nxt time liao..

After all the hunger was filled.. all slacked arnd.. oh ya and tis time rnd.. 2 of Ting's frends joined us for the steamboat.. if im nt wrong are Huimin & Vincent.. we had a 7 person's steamboat.. a nice gathering doh ^^ Later we played the drinking game.. it was fun and easy to pick up.. played till bout 11:30pm.. cos we all wanna rush for the last bus.. which was bout 11:45 or so.. and tat ended our Sat..

Planning to get a chalet for my bro's B'day tis yr.. hope successful! Heez.. it's the same one.. NSRCC hehe... LoLz.. cos the rates are super reasonable & affordable as well... i meant for members and.... especially the environment.. comfortable lo.. like the surrounding very much.. doh there might nt b as much entertainment n activities like Down Town East chalet or others.. but the soothing environment tops it up! ^^

Waiting for Pok's ans tmr.. Thanks to her hehe.. she help me bk the chalet lo.. gotta wait till she confirm w her HR dept tmr.. Thanks Poky! Yeah~ n U'll be staying over w me AGAIN! Heez... =D

Haha finally here to update bout my chalet! =) too bad Ame can't join us.. Been too tired yester manz.. haha juz back fr chalet yester and went out again in the evening keke... for Katong Laksa w Ting, Quan & Pok.. haha Quan gt sudden craving for tat.. Hmm.. though tats somewhere very near to my wrkpl.. but i seldom went for the laksa.. mayb cos u get to smell it almost everyday.. but the taste of BLK 49 laksa seems to be nt as yummy as b4 leh.. but still delicious doh!

Ok.. 1st day of the chalet..
Me reached Pok's hse bout 9:30am.. went to market w Pok n her mama to get fresh stingray, squids and prawns for the BBQ.. hehe.. market ones fresher really.. bought some potatoes and baby carrots too.. but too bad, the carrots only left a pack.. tats our fav manz.. baby carrots! After "grilling".. it juz taste good & wat more it was healthy! Went arnd NTUC, Shop 'N' Save to buy those packet drinks haha.. our hands were already full of bags tat time.. but Pok's mama superwoman.. can carry many bags of stuff and still walk very fast sia.. unlike the 2 of us.. ahaha... we were way behind! Buy this n tat... walk here n tare.. hands n legs tired haha.. but happy leh.. cos preparing for our chalet! =) The effort's worth.. Hui Zhen reached Pok's hse bout 11am.. we were still looking for the charcoal.. everything was so rushy manz.. hee.. finally managed to get it @ NTUC n went back Pok's hse to rest and have some baguette (dunno hw to spell) b4 we set off for another round of shopping @ bout 12:30.. actually we were too lazy to go down again la.. haha but no choice.. this time rnd is together w Hui Zhen.. go get those bottled drinks, marshmallow, chips all tat... finally all done! And.. the time is oreadi 1:30 i tink.. Pok's mum cooked some bee hoon so we had some b4 leaving for chalet.. wah quite a large serving haha.. but we were hungry le!

Arrived at the chalet bout 2:30 like tat.. haha but Jx oreadi tare.. we thot we were the earliest liao.. keke.. of cos unpack all our stuff.. trying to snatch our fav rm.. bla bla la.. Oh ya! saying of this.. makes me thot of tat taxi uncle who drove us tare.. he was soooo sarcastic sia.. and asked the 3 of us wat ERP stands for.. and saying PHD = Permanent Head Damage.. and those pple who study so much.. and asked us wat's BADA.. even told us to wave at the small boy at the bus-stop when he horned.. siao one haha.. funnie leh he.. tink we've met quite a few wierd pple along the way n throughout the chalet days manz.. and still gt some even brought their own broom and mop to the chalet ahaha.. ma jiam staying tare for long ah.. and again, tat uncle oso commented on this! Aiyo.. saying tat person siao la.. why bring all these stuff tare.. and scolded some Jap foul language at those passers-by lo.. say they rude ah.. siao rite this uncle.. but of cos he's nt totally bad la.. at least he drove us to our unit and helped us unload our bags of stuff lo.. haha still, he din forgt to comment on tat too.. praising himself of his helpfulness.. LoLz~ wat a "special" journey huh.. haha but we like almost can't stand him le.. even after unpacking, we were still saying bout tat uncle.. ^^!

Nt long later.. Ting n Quan arrived too! =) This was a 6 person's chalet hehe.. small grp but FUN still!

Din had much thing to do.. Jx bought JJ's MTV.. so we started to K song! Haa.. but it's kind of wierd leh to sing tare.. nt long later we decided to watch the VCDs Pok brought.. failed.. previously we couldn't successfully use the player too but this time rnd after much trying on Sat.. finally ok! Ting, Quan n Jx went swimming while Pok, HZ n me stayed in to slack haha.. we juz dun wanna move anymore.. Hz n me can't swim too.. soon it's nite time n time for our Lantern Festival activities! Hehe.. ermm shall upload the pix after i gt it.. we played w lanterns, candles and FIREWORKS! haa... juz like our childhood days.. and of cos followed by mooncakes lo! Hehz.. durian snow skin, the yam puffy type and a few brown skin ones.. filling manz.. haha this time rnd we took many pix.. unlike tat time mostly non-living things sia.. will sure post it sn! =) After tat we went to bathe one by one then mahjong time! Sia.. i keep losing.. my tiles were actually nt bad.. but i still lost in the end! i gt no luck in gambling.. lucky gt Ting help me.. hehe~ She's the big winner tat nite.. ^^ Hmm.. we went to bed bout 3+am... but.. kana woken up by our dear neighbours.. they started to party at 4+am! Manz.. where pple were slping.. and tok super loud.. so we all din slpt well tat nite lo... HZ, Pok n me woke up at 7+am as our rm was nearer the sound.. panda eyes we all.. except Quan still deep in his slp..

2nd day.. to 3rd..
Went downstairs and start watching movies b4 preparing the food for BBQ.. wanna watch "Poseidon" initially.. but the disc gt some prob.. so watched "Date Movie" .. haha a good one.. we keep laughing sia! The show was abit lame but funnie la.. watched once b4 liao.. w Wenxue tat time.. Hmm... u'll sure be in for a gd laugh lo! Watched "Shaggy Dog" too.. but forgt which day liao.. cos watched quite a few movies.. then nite time, BBQ! Started earlier this time.. bout 5pm cos Jx n Hz going hm tat nite.. haha this time rnd we again bbq all the food and sat down makan together! The food was tastier tis way haa.. and the chicken wings were good too.. mostly were well cooked.. =)

The haze was super bad tat day... PSI as high as 150 manz.. can't even see those ships on the sea..

After filling our stomach.. slack and watched tv before we bathe and mj again! hahaa.. tink Quan was the most happie liao.. finally managed to play his mj tis time.. and somemore for 2 days.. we were watching a korean horror movie, "Doll Master" while playing haha.. all couldn't concentrate sia.. scary part especially.. and when i throw the "er wan" tile, i said "qi wan".. lolz.. decided to stop the game when the show ended.. went to bed after Ting transferred the pix fr Pok's cam.. we had a gd slp tat nite but nt Quan haha... tis time rnd he's the one who's woken by the noise.. and it's only 5am lo.. our neighbours again.. haha guess wat.. Quan called the security! Tink he buay tahan liao.. but we 3 were slping like log.. me the latest to wake up.. haha we gotta check out by 10:30am.. and me woke up at 9.. shuttle bus leaving at 11:20.. but tink all were too slpy cum tired haha.. shared a cab to Quan's hse tare.. fr tare.. Ting n Pok shared cab hm.. while i took bus 17..

Ok.. almost coming till the end of chalet updates.. so fast manz.. the 3 days 2 nites.. and we are back to wrk today.. still in chalet mood manz.. keke.. happie times pass by fast.. hope all njoyed the fun as i do! =)

Hehe... ok la.. shall nt repeat much.. haha Ting, Pok n Jx will update too.. read theirs for more! Oh ya and we played boardgames tat Quan brought too! ^^ Shadows of Camelot.. interesting game.. we are to fight to win the game as a whole rather than against one another.. hahaha except the "traitor" aka Pok tis time! Oh no.. shld b 2nd time.. haha she had to openly go against us as her identity was revealed.. by me, the accuser! I'll leave Pok to continue her part.... hehe..

Yesh... and i 've bought quite some mooncakes this yr... hehe... Went Taka yester after wrk.. wanna buy some mooncakes and oso wait for Pok n JX to knock off.. Taka Sq tare gt more choices i tink.. can sample alot hehe.. bought my D24 durain snow skin mooncake!!! Woo yummy~~ haha love durian!! Sooo nice... it's filled w real durian manz! n... haha i bought 4 big ones in a box! ^^ And oso the puffy type of yam pastry @ Shi Zhen... super delicious.. bought one box w egg yolk n the other without.. Hmm... tink $14 for 2 pieces without egg.. $15.50 for egg.. yummy... Pok n JX like to eat tat too.. haha Pok shop tare w her colleagues almost everyday she said.. till she sianz keke... alot of pple yester oso.. especially @ Four Seasons, the stall which i bought my D24.. haha.. lucky JX n me oreadi thot of wat to buy n from which stall sia.. if nt imagine we gotta taste arnd n then decide... lolz... cos at first thot Pok needs her staff card back b4 Taka closes, we rush n split up to buy different mooncakes... aha..

Oh ya.. the HK cafe @ Taka B1 oso nt bad... it's called Zhong Huan ah.. Parkway's outlet coming sn too... can try, the food although more or less similar to other HK cafes.. but taste n the way they cook n present was slightly different haha.. especially the baked rice.. usually others juz serve it on those casseroles but here, they served on small "containers" for those steamed char siew bao manz.. unique rite! haha..
Tink nowadays quite a few HK cafes opening... even near my office oso... But... my side one nt much business leh.. no crowd.. My colleagues were saying hard to survive lo.. they even tinking when tat cafe be closing down... and usually their predictions are quite zun! Cos one of my fav eatery place beside our office juz closed down... the food range was limited n abit exp doh.. even the owner oso saying can't survive.. oni gt a few regular customers... bad~

Eat eat eat... tink i've been eating quite alot nowdays... haha.. tink put on some weight liao keke.. today colleague treat us to lunch.. he's one of our salesperson.. uncle.. nice nt bad.. haha we thot gt wat gd news behind his treat, like strike TOTO, 4D or wat.. but he said cos so long din treat us nor had a decent lunch w us liao.. so treat lo.. and since he's nt joining our MD for lunch w his frend ba.. nt too sure.. this uncle is more behind the scene type.. dun like to be in the limelight.. hehe tats y we had this Ajisen Lunch! Haa.. Thanks yo~ =)

Hmm... news are saying more n more divorced couples are of the elderly age category.. why sia... quite shocking manz.. cos oreadi elderly wor.. thot for pple in the older days, their marriages tend to be more steady n mature..? My colleagues are toking bout tis issue today.. most of the cases, some "aunties" said cos their husbands gt affairs outside, hence causes the action.. and some of the affairs started in those CCs ah.. wah y like tat..

I think.. Simplicity is good.. although it might be somewhat routine.. but at times, having some routines in life is good too.. =)

Juz back hm from Orchard.. went eat Sakura Buffet w Pok n Yanyang.. haha YY's craving for tat.. suddenly jio us manz.. we were alittle taken by surprise aha.. cos he's usually the more beezy one among us.. n yap he was satisfied nw =) Nice gather doh! We chit chat alot.. update one another bout our lately issues bla bla.. and we were saying studying n wrking, which is better... wat do u tink..? Haa.. guess it's normal ba.. for those studying, they tend to tink tat wrking life is better and as for wrking pple.. studying. Hmm.. mayb humans are juz nt easily contented lo.. when u gt this, u wan other things too... haha.. anyway we did had a very filling and happie dinner rite?! Hee... w all those laughter n some crappy jokes hahaha..

Yester was quite a travelling day manz.. haha after wrk went Novena mit frend to take my Ezlink back.. dropped it in the taxi tat time.. lucky cos i wan my Monkie holder.. hehe.. then went makan, shop arnd the nothing-much-to-shop Novena Sq n United Sq lolz.. Went Pok's hse next.. her "work efficiency" power.. my Princess Hours vcds back so fast! haha.. n mit Bibi near our place tat 511 market for la teh session.. but we drank warm barley instead haa.. it's been a while since we last met up.. so catch up abit lo.. =)

Hmm.. tmr's Monday again.. and our chalet is tis Fri! hehe... yeah chalet~ but haven apply my leave sia.. wonder wat will my manager say again tis time.. cos at times she asks.. like so fast manz.. Sat noon i juz posted an entry and nw..
